Wolverine Oilfield Technologies Supplies Proprietary 4¾-in Triple Combo LWD Suite to Customer in Oman
Oman — August 2026 —
Wolverine Oilfield Technologies completed the sale and technical integration of its proprietary 4¾-in triple combo logging-while-drilling (LWD) suite for a customer in Oman. The project combines Wolverine’s formation-evaluation technology with the customer’s existing measurement-while-drilling (MWD) platform and includes technical support for workshop readiness and personnel training.
The supplied 4¾-in triple combo suite comprises resistivity, litho neutron density, and digital gamma ray (GR) tools together with supporting software. The system was successfully integrated with the customer’s MWD technology, enabling the Wolverine LWD tools to operate as part of the customer’s existing bottom-hole assembly and data-acquisition environment.
The project extends beyond equipment supply. As part of the implementation program, Wolverine’s technical team evaluated the customer’s workshop facilities and equipment to determine their readiness to support the new LWD technology. Following the assessment, the team provided recommendations for the required workshop adjustments and equipment configuration.
Once the workshop preparation is completed, Wolverine plans to begin training the customer’s personnel in September 2026. The training will support the customer in preparing its team to operate, service, and maintain the supplied technology.
The combination of equipment supply, MWD integration, workshop assessment, and personnel training provides the technical foundation for the customer to introduce the triple combo LWD suite into its drilling operations. It also demonstrates the interoperability of Wolverine’s formation-evaluation technology with third-party MWD systems, allowing customers to integrate additional LWD capabilities into their existing drilling technology infrastructure.
The project in Oman represents another commercial application of Wolverine Oilfield Technologies’ proprietary drilling technology portfolio in the Middle East and supports the company’s broader approach of combining equipment supply with engineering, integration, and technical support.
