Frontier Oil Tools Achieves API 19LH V1/V0 Qualification for 4½-in x 7-in Liner Hanger Packer
HOUSTON, Texas — May 2020 —
Frontier Oil Tools completed API 19LH V1 and V0 testing of its proprietary 4½-in x 7-in F1 liner hanger packer. The test recorded zero gas leakage with a gas-tight seal, qualifying the packer for use under the stated API 19LH grades.
The qualification documents the packer’s performance against the applicable API 19LH V1/V0 test requirements. It also supports the company’s continued development of liner hanger systems for well completion applications where pressure integrity and verified equipment performance are required.
The F1 liner hanger packer forms part of Frontier Oil Tools’ portfolio of completion systems and services. The company develops and manufactures downhole equipment intended to support efficient liner installation and well completion operations.
